The locking clip must lock into housing slot
Make sure the locking clip is facing the same side as the slot on the housing.
If wire ends are not installed correctly into the housing the lights will not work correctly. You should hear a light click once they lock into place.
Once installed correctly you shouldn't see any part of the metal pin next to the housing opening.
