Frequently Asked Questions

Can I update my current mount to the GEN 2 mount?

Yes, We offer kits D0350118, D0250151 and D0250150 to convert your original mount to GEN 2.

If I have an existing Ciro perch mount from the previous phone holder will the Constrictor™ connect correctly to existing ball mount?

No. The Constrictor requires the use of a GEN 2 compatible ball mount. The GEN 2 compatible ball mounts still use the 5/8" ball mount but the neck / shaft is longer on the GEN 2.

What size ball does Ciro use for their ball mounted accessories?

All Ciro ball mounted accessories use a compact 5/8" ball and socket.

Do any of my original accessory mounts work with GEN 2 Accessories?
