Constrictor® with Aluminum Bar Clamp Mount

• 7/8"-1" clamp kit works with 7/8" (with included insert) or 1" bars only
• 1-1/8" - 1-1/4" clamp kit works with 1-1/8" (with included insert) or 1-1/4" bars only
• 1-1/2" Clamp (1-1/2" bars only)
• Common Harley-Davidson OEM handlebars diameters are 1" (1.0") or 1-1/4" (1.25")
• All measurements are across the diameter of the bar.
• All handlebar measurements may vary by OEM and handlebar manufacturer. Please confirm your bar size before ordering. 

Q: If I have an existing Ciro bar clamp mount from the previous phone holder will this connect correctly to existing ball mount?

• A: No. The Constrictor requires the use of a GEN 2 compatible ball mount. The GEN 2 compatible ball mounts still use the 5/8" ball mount but the neck / shaft is longer on the GEN 2.

Q: Is there an ideal spot to install the clamp?

• Yes, you need to bar to be as round as possible. The areas to stay away from are any corners. The bars will have more of an oval shape the closer you get to the corner. The best is to stay 2"-3" away from any corner.

Q: Is there a piece of rubber or plastic that goes between the handlebar and the clamp to protect the surface?

• A: No, we do not include any rubber or plastic insert to go between the clamp and the handlebar. We make our clamps to fit tight around the bar to keep them from moving around. Rubber and plastic inserts crack and break and will lead to the clamp coming loose. Some customers try to do a single ring of tape under the clamp to protect the bar but it is NOT recommended, this will NOT protect the bar like you think it will.

Q: Will my clamp kit come with a reducer?

• A: The only kits that will include a aluminum reducer are the 7/8" to 1" and 1-1/8" to 1-1/4" clamp kits. All other kits will only work for the bar size they are designed for.

Q: What size ball does Ciro use for their ball mounted accessories?

• A: All Ciro ball mounted accessories use a compact 5/8" ball and socket.
