I put these on a new Road Glide Ultra and am very pleased. They are substantially built and finished nicely. I would trust these to hold the bike up in a tip over situation. My only gripe is with the hardware included with the kit. The bolt that the highway peg mount pivots on is an all thread bolt. This means the peg mount sits on the peaks of the threads and will wear out very quickly. For a dollar more, Ciro could have used a shoulder bolt and the connection would be solid forever. I did have to cut more threads in the clevis as the bolt there bottomed on the existing threads. No big deal for me, not everyone has bottoming taps sitting around. Installation was easy. On the first long ride I used them, I knew buying them was the right decision. I have no regrets.
love the pieces! Big beefy parts with nice powder coating. Highly adjustable and easy to install. All parts lined right up perfect!
I purchased these during Sturgis for my Road Glide Ultra and they are worlds better looking and more comfortable than traditional highway pegs.
These are very nice adjustable peg mounts especially on a 2017 Freewheeler. If your looking to put highway pegs on your Freewheeler without having to mount a engine guard then these are for you. I did find a downside though. Nothing to do with manufacturing or the product itself. It's a rider preference issue. If your going to use an extended brake peddle pad then the peg mounts may interfere with the brake peddle. This would only be a problem if your as short as me. I'm 5' 6" inches with a 29 inseam. Even so I was able to purchase spacers at Ace hardware and moved the right floorboard out about an inch and a half to get the peddle to clear. So as I said before, great product and I would highly recommend it.
